Last week some friends of ours were being right neighborly when they invited us to go to the Houston Rodeo with them. And, if you didn't know, ours just happens to be THE LARGEST RODEO IN THE WORLD. (Seriously, it really is.)
I've been to rodeos aplenty, but it was the youngins first time. After we wandered around and ate some vittles, we sat down to watch all the rodeo events. It was awesome! Kiddo loved keeping track of all the points, BG was thrilled to see so many animals, I saw my first chuck wagon race and mutton bustin' (very exciting), and both kids fell asleep during the concert (who could blame them?). All in all, it was a rip-roarin' good time! We are already looking forward to next year.

Mission Homecoming
My (Felicia's) folks returned from their 18-month long mission in Brazil. We weren't able to go to my their farewell, so the last time we saw them was when we met up in Pittsburgh. But the occasion of their homecoming was enough for all of us to get together for the first time since my youngest brother's wedding nearly 3 years ago. It didn't take long for us to remember what a crazy bunch we all are when we're together!
Between meeting my parents at the airport and going to their homecoming talks at church we managed to pack in a lot of other activities:
We went out to eat (it's a good thing we had a private room)...
...visited JDawgs, the Paleontology Museum, and BYU...
...gave the kids some much-needed cousin time...
...and even managed to get some family pictures taken.
Ok, a lot of family pictures were taken.
It was so great to be with my parents, all my siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends we haven't seen in so many years. Love you all!
