Family Pics 2016!

Brandon kept asking me whether family pictures were worth doing this year--his travel schedule has been so crazy that we had to change our appointment and even the location more than once.  But we finally figured it out and eventually had pictures done at Liberty Park.  I love how they turned out!

Halloween Stuff 2016

October seemed to fly by with so many fun Halloween activities!  It started with BG's preschool class going to the pumpkin patch.

Kiddo had his storybook parade at school, in which he wore the same costume as last year.

And BG had her storybook parade, as well!

Then we had our ward trunk-or-treat/chili cook-off, which was a rousing success (except for the part where I got ill, which it provided confirmation that I am allergic to tomatillos.  Thank you, chili verde!)

Finally it was Halloween!  Brandon offered to stay home with G2, and I went trick-or-treating with the older kids.  Kiddo started out as a storm trooper ghost and BG as a spider.  But we only got half way down the block before Kiddo decided he was too hot.  Then I became the ghost and Kiddo was just a storm trooper.  And then later we stopped at home to use the bathroom, and the kids switched costumes again.  So by the end of the night, Kiddo was a spider and BG was a pumpkin.  Funny kids.  And it was a fun Halloween.
