Utah Thanksgiving

When we found out that my parent's mission farewell would be the Sunday before Thanksgiving, that was motivation enough to spend our Thanksgiving holiday in Utah.  Plus, four of my siblings were going to be there, as well, so we knew it would be a crazy, fun-filled week.

We went to the aquarium...

...had lots of family time...

...and two lovely Thanksgiving dinners.

It was a great week and a wonderful way to say good-bye to my parents for the next 18 months while they are serving the Lord in Portugal.

Family Pictures 2015

It took a lot of work to get family pictures done this year.  Between Brandon's unpredictable travel schedule and the fluctuating weather, we had to reschedule three times before finding a day that would work.  It was all worth it though!  The weather was perfect and the Mercer Botanical Gardens were beautiful!

TEETH

G2 has earned the distinction of getting teeth at an earlier age than either of her older siblings.  Whereas Kiddo was already 1 before getting his first, and BG was 11 months, G2 got her first two teeth at a mere 10 months old--just in time for Thanksgiving.

(Btw--looking at all these old blog posts of my kids makes me realize that they really do all look alike!)

Halloween Things

 

It was a fun month of Halloween festivities, made all the more enjoyable because Brandon was around for the holiday.  This is two years in a row, people!  We're on a roll here!

Kiddo's school has a "story book parade" early in the month, where the kids usually wear their Halloween costume and find a related book to hold.  Kiddo was a storm trooper, and brought one of our Star Wars comic books.

We somehow didn't get any pictures of our ward's trunk or treat, but the kids were also invited to a Halloween party at a friend's house.  The highlight was definitely the doughnut-on-a-string contest.  (Kiddo dressed as a knight for the party.)

Finally, Halloween arrived!  G2 dressed up as Nemo.  BG ended up never wearing the costume we got her, but wore last year's pumpkin costume instead.  Kiddo was a storm trooper.  Brandon was Chuck from AutoZone (with Grandma Crosby's wig), and I was Wenda from Where's Waldo.  (Yeah, we never got a picture of me, either.)
